Columbia University threatens to 'expel' students occupying one of its buildings

Columbia University in New York, which has been facing a pro-Palestinian student movement for the past two weeks, threatened on Tuesday to expel those occupying a building on campus since last night.

University spokesperson Ben Chang said in a statement: "We regret that protesters have chosen to escalate the situation through their actions [...] Student protesters occupying Hamilton Hall will face expulsion."
