UN expects global temperature to rise between 2.5C and 2.9C by 2100

The United Nations warned that the current climate commitments of countries worldwide are putting the planet on a catastrophic trajectory of global warming, reaching up to 2.9 degrees Celsius during this century. This far exceeds the ceiling set by the international community.
