International Red Cross reports two drivers killed and three staff members injured in Sudan

The International Committee of the Red Cross announced on Thursday the death of two of its drivers and the injury of three of its staff members from gunfire by armed men in South Darfur state, western Sudan.

 

In a statement, the committee said its team ''was on its way back... to assess the humanitarian situation in communities affected by armed violence in the area.''
