UNIFIL, LAF conduct intensive patrols along Blue Line

Calm prevailed on Monday morning in the border regions and the coastline of Tyre, after Sunday’s security tensions in the wake of the firing of rockets from the area toward the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Lebanese Armed Forces and the United Nations Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL) are combing Hinnieh and Qalila areas in the South in search of rocket launchpads.

Also, the army and UNIFIL conducted intensive patrols along the Blue Line from Naqoura to the eastern sector.
