The Internal Security Forces General Directorate issued a statement on Saturday whereby it said that on October 08, 2016, a unit from the anti-drug regional office in Bekaa raided residences of fugitives and suspects in the Bekaa town of Chmestar, where it arrested four people.
The arrestees were identified as Lebanese nationals M. S. (1986), A. S. (1957), A. S. (1992) and Syrian national A. M. (1979).
The unit seized in one house 24.4 Kg of marijuana packed in plastic bags and 20.6 Kg of dry marijuana in another house.
The security forces immediately launched investigations under the concerned judiciary.
