MP Sami Gemayel: We will deter Hezbollah from imposing its project on Lebanon

MP Sami Gemayel hoped on Sunday to emulate Switzerland with a neutral Lebanon, calling for averting the repercussions of external events on the internal Lebanese scene.

“Does the rift in Lebanon over the Syrian situation have any benefit?” he wondered during his meeting with Lebanese expats in Melbourne.

The Kataeb MP voiced his rejection of drawing strength from an external country, adding “we will prevent Hezbollah from imposing its project on Lebanon.”
