Chammas to LBCI: Nahhas could have been a milestone

The Head of Beirut Traders Association Nicolas Chammas told Nharkom Said TV show that Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas could have been a milestone within the cabinet, “however he chose to be hostile to all parties”.

Chammas underscored the need to find a legal exit to the agreement reached between economic bodies and the GLC in Baabda Palace.

“The main issue is to deduct transportation fees from wages”, Chammas said.

He stressed that the introduction of transportation fees to wages will lead to a $2 billion loss for employers.
