Hajj Hassan to LBCI: Judiciary tightening food safety measures
Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan said on Saturday that “there is no rotten meat entering Lebanon”, confirming that all Lebanese ports are under tight control.   

Hajj Hassan confirmed to Nharkom Said TV show that the cabinet and the judiciary are tightening measures with regards to the food safety crisis.   

The minister added that the amount of rotten food was not as large as depicted by the media.     

Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon is on the doors of a tourist season, urging people not to blow the issue out of proportion.

The agriculture minister also commended the achievements of the cabinet with regards to electricity, wage hike and combating corruption.
