In Deir al-Qamar vote, parties confront Dory Chamoun

The town of Deir al-Qamar is expected to witness a heated battle between the Lebanese Forces and the Free Patriotic Movement against a ticket backed by National Liberal Partychief Dory Chamoun and the Kataeb.

In this context, Chamoun, a traditional ally of the LF, criticized the party for running against his list.

Member of the Lebanese Forces MP Georges Adwan said that “the municipality elections do not aim to inflict losses upon Dory Chamoun”, pointing out that some have been trying to take over them in the municipality elections for the past 40 years.
