REPORT: Ali Qanso elected as new head of Syrian Social Nationalist Party
Former head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party Assaad Hardan announced on Friday that former minister Ali Qanso was elected as the new head of the party.

Hardan’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he noted that “Qanso is keen on safeguarding the party and pushing it forward.”

For his part, Qanso stressed that “it is by good coincidence that he was elected as the head of the party while the Syrian army and its allies are making achievements in Syria.”

“I will lead the party with firmness for a stronger role, mainly in addressing the enemies of the nation and the terrorist gangs,” he concluded by saying.
