Arab Tawhid party chief, former Minister Wiam Wahhab stressed Sunday that “Saraya al-Tawhid is neither a military nor security brigade or seeking vandalism, but it aims for change for a better future and rejects to use weapons unless for self-defense and in support for the Lebanese army when faced with any aggression from the Israeli enemy,”
During a military parade for Saraya al-Tawhid in the Jahiliyeh town of the Chouf district, Wahhab criticized the Druze leaders, noting that the time has come for accountability.
“I dare any of the Druze leaders to reject any compromise that does not include our community in the cabinet with a sovereign ministry,” he stated.
In this context, Wahhab called on MPs Walid Jumblatt and Talal Erslan, as well as former MP Faisal al-Daoud to stand in solidarity, warning against rejecting any service ministry, since the citizens need it.
In his speech, Wahhab saluted President Michel Aoun, reiterating that he will stand by him as long as he fulfills his promises to fight corruption.
