REPORT: Al-Mina’s public maritime properties endangered

The maritime properties in the al-Mina region of the northern city of Tripoli have always been for the public, in accordance with the law.

 

But much to everyone’s surprise, including al-Mina’s municipality, a verdict issued by Judge Nazih Akkari turned a piece of land within the public property, located between the beach and the highway, into a private property, allowing therefore the issuance of a title deed in the name of several individuals.
