Patriarch Rai calls for avoiding extension and vacuum
Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai voiced hopes on Tuesday that the Lebanese leaders would be able to meet the aspirations of the Lebanese people.

Patriarch Rai’s comments were made from Beirut International Airport ahead of his trip to Rome whereby he voiced rejection to the 1960 vote law.

He also called on the leaders to avoid the extension of the parliament’s mandate as well as the vacuum in the parliamentary seats.
