Al-Akhbar newspaper released a letter sent by the Jordanian Ambassador to Beirut to his country on 28/09/2017, which includes as he says the most important information he received from his Emirati counterpart Hamad al-Shamsi.
According to the daily, the Jordanian ambassador quoted al-Shamsi as saying that Lebanese Forces party chief Samir Geagea wants to open communication channels with the Iranians, adding that meetings have been held between the Lebanese Forces and Iranian diplomats.
