Zein al-Atat’s son kidnapped on Mdeirej – Sawfar road

Ibrahim al-Atat, son of herbal expert Zein al-Atat, was kidnapped by four masked gunmen on board a black Mercedes four-wheeler with tinted windows and no license plate on the Mdeirej-Sawfar road.

The kidnappers blocked Ibrahim al-Atat’s way, forcing him to get out of his car. They then abducted him, and fled in the direction of Beirut on the Hammana - Sawfar road.

Security forces have since launched an investigation to reveal Ibrahim al-Atat’s whereabouts.
