Hajj Hassan to head to Syria tomorrow to take part in Damascus International Fair

Caretaker Minister of Industry Hussein Hajj Hassan is scheduled to head to Syria tomorrow (Tuesday), upon the invitation of the Syrian Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammad Samer Khalil, to partake in the 60th edition of the Damascus International Fair 2018, which is set to kick off on Thursday, September 6, 2018, with a Lebanon, Arab and international participation, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Hajj Hassan is set to hold talks with a number of Syrian officials over the means to bolster the economic relations and commercial trade via land borders between the two countries.

The minister will also inaugurate the Lebanese pavilion in the fair that includes nearly 50 exhibitors.
