Salem Zahran to LBCI: Battle against corruption is ongoing
Director of the “Media Focal Center” Salem Zahran said on Friday that the battle against corruption is ongoing; adding that the corruption file in the Lebanese Customs was referred to the Information Branch.
Zahran’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that reforms must be done from within the state.

“Hezbollah will succeed in fighting corruption but might clash with his allies,” he added.

Zahran also noted that 15 Internal Security Forces' officers were referred to the Disciplinary Board, while the promotion of 1300 soldiers was halted for violations committed by them.
“This is an achievement that can be credited to the Director General of the ISF Major General Imad Osman,” he concluded by saying.
