Bulgarian President lays wreath on martyrs’ statue, tours Jbeil
Bulgarian President Rumen Rade laid on Wednesday morning a wreath of flowers on the martyrs’ statue in Martyrs’ Square.
A ceremony was held in this regard and was attended by Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab, Minister for the Displaced Ghassan Atallah, Beirut Governor Ziad Chebib, Beirut Mayor Jamal Itani, the military head for Beirut Brigadier General Alaa Hallal and other officials.
Then, the Bulgarian president headed to Jbeil on board of a Lebanese army helicopter where he was received by Jbeil municipality head Wissam Zaarour and members of the municipal council.
The president then toured Jbeil’s old souk.
