Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil reiterated on Tuesday that the salaries of servicemen and others will not be touched.

The minister told LBCI before the Cabinet session that salaries will not be touched and new taxes will not be imposed in the Budget bill.

This as retired Major General Georges Nader told LBCI that he does not believe the minister, calling on him to withdraw the articles related to the deduction of the military salaries from the Budget bill.
