Letter from Bassil to his Emirati counterpart, calls for issuing special pardon for 8 Lebanese detained in UAE

Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil handed a message to Emirati Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad al-Shamsi, addressed to his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdallah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whereby he congratulated him on the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

 

In the message, Bassil also called on the minister and the head of state Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to issue a special pardon for the 8 Lebanese nationals detained in the United Arab Emirates, as well as 3 convicts.
