Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil declared Monday that he has realized through his meetings with representatives from international institutions and ranking agencies that the International Community does not see a problem in the measures taken by the cabinet regarding the budget and its items, but there’s no confidence in the cabinet’s ability to implement these measures, based on previous experience.
The finance minister stressed that there is no issue with the budget of the Defense Ministry and reduction will affect the army’s expenses, noting that armament and development are subject to a program that has been postponed until next year.
