President Aoun: First task of new government is to fight corruption
President Michel Aoun met on Monday with United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jan Kubis at the Baabda Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, Aoun asserted that the first task of the new government will be the following up on fighting corruption.
“Investigations will include all officials in all public administrations,” he added.
On another note, President Aoun said that dialogue must be held with the protesters in order to reach an understanding on the raised issues.
