Family of Samer Hanna marks fourth anniversary of his martyrdom
The Northern town of Tannourine commemorated on Sunday the martyrdom of Captain Samer Hanna, after four years since his death. A mass was held in the church of Lady of Ascension, in the presence of representatives of MP Boutros Harb, LAF Chief, ISF General Director and the State’s Security General Director as well as relatives and colleagues of the martyr.             

The family of Samer Hanna placed a wreath at his tomb in the town’s square.               

Officer Samer Hanna was killed on August 28th 2008, when gunmen opened fire at a military helicopter flying over a village in a Hezbollah stronghold in the south of the country.
