With the exception of some additional military and security patrols in the vicinity of the US Embassy in Awkar, there were no extraordinary measures taken by the security apparatuses in Lebanon.
Military sources told LBCI that these security measures around the embassy have been already in place before; noting however that embassy could have implemented internal measures related to the staff movements around Lebanon.
