PM Diab chairs meeting to discuss money transfers to students abroad
A meeting was held this afternoon at the Grand serail to discuss money transfer to students abroad, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Hassan Diab and in the presence of Ministers of Finance Ghazi Wazni, Justice Marie-Claude Najm, Administrative Development and Environment Damianos Kattar, and Industry Imad Hoballah, as well as Head of Association of Banks in Lebanon, Salim Sfeir, and PM Advisors Khodr Taleb and George Chalhoub.
During the meeting, Sfeir informed attendees that banks will keep transferring amounts to students to cover their university fees and rentals, provided that their parents submit required documents to the banks.
