National campaign to reduce air pollution launched
A celebration was held on Thursday, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Environment Nazem Khoury, during which a national campaign aimed at reducing air pollution in Lebanon was launched. The campaign will be implemented by ABT Energy center, with the support of the Ministry of Environment, the ESCWA and the United Nations Development Program.                 

The Campaign aims at reducing air pollution through rationalizing the consumption of energy in land transportation sector and reducing the environmental pollution resulting from this sector, as well as encouraging the use of renewable, alternative and clean energy.
