Charbel Ch. confesses of killing Roland Chbeir

The Lebanese Citizen Charbel Ch. who hails from the village of Kartaba and lives in Fidar, has confessed to the ISF’s Information Division on Sunday at dawn that he killed his friend Roland for financial reasons.

The Division seized important possessions from Charbel’s home includng the Pump Action shotgun used in the crime, in addition to a mobile phone that goes back to Roland

In details, Charbel told Roland that he wants to sell a land propoerty in Jleiseh-Jbeil and asked him to accompany him.

At the above mentioned place, he shot him twice in his back and put him in the trunk of his car and headed towards Laqlouq, but then figured out that he will not be able to return back without a car so he went his way back to Jounieh and parked the car near Pasteur Hospital.

22-year-old Roland Chbeir was found dead in the trunk of the car he was driving on Friday. For more on this story, click here.
