Kawouk: The proportional system depicts the true size of the Future bloc

        
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Deputy Head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, Nabil Kawouk said that Hezbollah does not react to insults "in order to avoid strife and sectarian provocations."        

From the southern Lebanese town of Tafahta, Kawouk reiterated that Hezbollah’s definite stance is "crystal clear".      

“We are adamant on holding the elections and adopting a new law with no further delay. As for the 1960’s electoral law, “it is doomed to failure,” Kawouk added.         

In this regard, Kawouk said that any new law based on the proportional system fairly depicts the true size of the Future bloc, adding that the only way to hold elections lies in the adoption of a new law.
