1 dead, 5 wounded in clashes near Bani Walid - Libya

Local officials announced that one person has been killed and five others wounded in clashes near Bani Walid, one of the last strongholds loyal to the former regime of Muammar Gaddafi, north-west of Libya.

Bani Walid spokesman Masood Aluaar said the clashes lasted for three hours Tuesday night, and concerted in the Mardoun valley just 10 kilometers east of Bani Walid, which acts as a channel to Misrata.
