REPORT: Bahrain denies entry to Lebanese journalist Joumana Haddad

Lebanese journalist and poet Joumana Haddad is scheduled to present “a banquet of poetry and music” on April 6 in Bahrain as part of the Spring of Culture Festival organized annually by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca).

However, an online campaign was launched against her visit, and she was denied entry to Bahrain.

The campaign accuses her of being “an atheist who advocates pornography and adultery.”
