Lebanese Parliament delays IMF contribution bill amid financial burdens

In a Thursday session, Lebanon's Parliament postponed discussions on a draft law to increase the country's contribution to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by two weeks.

The decision came at the request of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam following widespread objections from MPs who warned against placing additional financial burdens on the state.
