Israeli Defense Minister says probe into Oct. 7 failings should include Netanyahu

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Thursday called for a state inquiry into failings around the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, and said its subjects should include Gallant himself and his boss, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Gallant made the comments at a graduation ceremony for new military officers, also attended by Netanyahu. The crowd at the ceremony, made up of families of new officers, cheered when Gallant made his comment.
