Israel's Finance Minister urges attorney general to seek court injunction against general strike

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has requested that the Attorney General urgently file a petition with the courts to prevent the strike scheduled for Monday, which aims to pressure Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government to secure the release of Israeli hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
