Hamas leader says Biden's statements are US acknowledgment of Netanyahu's responsibility for obstructing deal efforts

Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters on Monday, commenting on US President Joe Biden's statements that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not making sufficient efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, that this is an American acknowledgment that Netanyahu is undermining the efforts.

Abu Zuhri added that the movement will respond positively to any proposal for a permanent ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal.
