Israeli Finance Minister criticizes proposed Gaza agreement as a "disaster"

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Monday criticized the agreement reportedly being negotiated in Qatar to end the fighting in Gaza and secure the return of hostages, describing it as a "surrender deal."

In a statement, Smotrich said, "The agreement being worked on is a disaster for Israel's national security."
