Netanyahu says Israeli operation in West Bank's Jenin aims to 'eradicate terrorism'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that the military had launched a major operation in the occupied West Bank's Jenin, aiming to "eradicate terrorism" in the area.

Israeli security forces "launched today a large and significant military operation to eradicate terrorism in Jenin - 'Iron Wall'" the premier said in a statement.
