Sisi says 'forcibly displacing Palestinians is an injustice we cannot be part of'

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said on Wednesday that Egypt will not take part in the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, calling it an "injustice."

His statement came after U.S. President Donald Trump urged Egypt and Jordan to take in Palestinians from Gaza.

A statement from the Egyptian presidency quoted Sisi as saying, "Egypt is determined to work with U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve a desired peace based on the two-state solution."
