Israel asks US Envoy Steve Witkoff to intervene over footage of hostage release in Khan Yunis: Amal Shehadeh

Israel has requested U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff to intervene with mediators to prevent the recurrence of scenes that accompanied the release of two Israeli hostages in Khan Yunis, LBCI correspondent in Haifa Amal Shehadeh reported.

She added that Israeli party leaders and ministers viewed the footage as a show of strength by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, considering it a failure for Israel.
