Israeli Defense Minister says Hamas announcement of halt to hostage releases violates ceasefire deal

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Monday the Hamas announcement that it will stop freeing hostages was a violation of the Gaza ceasefire deal and that he had ordered the military to be at the highest level of readiness in Gaza.
