Former PM Hariri contacts Arsal’s mayor Ali Hjairi

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri contacted on Sunday the Mayor of Arsal Ali Hjairi, denouncing the attack against him, and stressing the importance of staying away from strife.
Hariri also contacted Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Jean Kahwagi and urged him to pursue perpetrators in the Al-Labweh ambush.

Following the exchange of citizen Youssef Mokdad with 12 kidnapped persons from Arsal at the Intelligence Bureau in Ras Baalbek, the convoy of the Arsal delegation was ambushed by gunmen on the Al-Labweh, Nabi Othman road.

In this regard sources said that one person from Arsal was killed, and two others, including the mayor Ali Hjairi, were injured, and mentioned that their injuries are minor.
