Flaunting the latest in high-tech military gear at Biel

In a speech he made at the inauguration of the Conference on Security in the Middle East held at Biel, Minister Panos Manjian, representing PM Najib Mikati stressed that efforts are exerted to encourage the Lebanese private sector to produce and develop military and security technology.

Delegations from more than 20 countries, political figures, ambassadors and military attaches are participating in this 3-day conference.

The exhibition displays everything related to internal security, border and infrastructure security, counter-terrorism, search-and-rescue, airport security, access control systems as well as firefighting and hunting equipment.
