Azzi to LBCI: We do not reject principle of resistance when it operates only inside Lebanon

Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi stressed Friday that the discussions held during the meetings of the ministerial statement drafting committee were calm and serious, which reflect a clear determination to reach a ministerial statement to be presented to the Parliament and the Lebanese people.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Azzi stressed that Kataeb party’s refusal to adopt the formula of the “Army, people, and resistance” in the ministerial statement does not mean that the party seeks Hezbollah's exclusion, explaining that the Kataeb does not reject the principle of the resistance, provided that it operates only within Lebanon.
