Lebanese army receives 1,000 rifles from U.S.
The Lebanese Armed Forces received 1,000 rifles from the United States as part of Washington’s assistance for the military, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.

The Logistics Brigades in the LAF received the rifles at the Beirut International Airport in the presence of Lebanese officers and a delegation from the U.S. aid office in Lebanon.

The shipment was part of U.S. military aid to the Lebanese troops and came in accordance with bilateral agreements signed between the two countries, the ministry said.
