Lebanese director wins “Best Director from the Arab World”
Lebanese director Ghassan Salhab won the Best Director from the Arab World prize at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in its eight edition.

Salhab won the prize for the movie “The Valley” (al-Wadi), starring Carlos Chahine, Fadi Abi Samra, Mounzer Baalbaki, Carole Abboud as well as other actors. The film reflects the situation in Lebanon through the story of a person who loses his memory after a car accident.

It is worth noting that “The Valley” was also featured in the Toronto film festival.
