The city of Jbeil hosted on Sunday Beirut Marathon Women's Race: Rise & Run Forward, organized by Beirut Marathon Association in cooperation with the municipality of Jbeil – Byblos, where 6365 people participated in the event.
The participants came from sports institutions, charities, women associations and educational facilities as well as civil society associations, trade unions and the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon.
The streets of Jbeil were filled with banners carrying slogans supporting women’s rights.
