Hanna Gharib to LBCI: The Lebanese people will change the state of corruption
Head of the Independent Syndicate Movement Hanna Gharib asserted on Wednesday that no problems will be solved if no changes are implemented in the country.

Gharib’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show broadcast live from the Riyad al-Soleh square.

“The people will turn the state of corruption and waste into a state of democracy and social welfare,” he noted.

He also stressed that the goal of the ongoing protests is to change the balance of forces, adding that those who vandalized the public properties “are backed by the Lebanese authorities.”

He concluded by calling on the protesters to be brave, to hold on to their case and to stand united because their demands are “rightful.”
