Bank of Beirut, as well as three other Lebanese banks, made it to Forbes Middle East list of the top hundred companies in the Arab World.
Forbes conducted its annual study, using a specific methodology and measuring four standards: market value, sales, net profits, and total assets.
Bank of Beirut ranked 78th this year, leaping 10 positions from last year’s 88th ranking.
It achieved a market value of $900 million; its sales reached $936 million, profits $198 million and assets $17.1 billion.
