Security Forces around SSNP office in Hamra retreat
Security Forces around Syrian Social Nationalist Party's office in Hamra retreated after two of the assailants, Ramez Abdo and Mohammad Awad, who attacked the Internal Security Forces (ISF) were handed over to the concerned authorities, in coordination with the party.

The party described the incident as "normal" and that the SSNP has nothing to do with it.

Earlier, the ISF had imposed tight security measures around one of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party's offices in Hamra on Friday morning following an attack against one of its members. The gun of a security official was stolen overnight as he was passing near the party’s headquarters.

The party returned the gun to the security forces.

The head of the SSNP’s Students Association Wissam Samia had denied through LBCI allegations that one of the party’s members attacked an ISF official, stressing that the party respects the law and the Lebanese state’s prestige.
