Singer Fares Karam brushes with death

Press sources reported that singer Fares Karam's health experienced a serious and near death set back Saturday evening.

Jaras Scoop FM said that Karam was about to take to the stage at a concert he was holding in the Chouf area when he felt a sudden and severe pain almost leading him to a complete collapse. Accordingly, he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Doctors said that he suffers from a ventricular hypertrophy and coronary artery blockage.

The sources added that Karam will remain hospitalized to ensure that the singer garners full health.
