Majzoub: Public schools must be an option
Minister of Education and Higher Education Tarek Al-Majzoub deemed on Saturday that "the path the government takes after gaining confidence is difficult," stressing that each minister carries his cross in order to alleviate people's concerns.

In an interview with "Radio Lebanon", the minister expected public schools to be overcrowded next year.

"Public schools should be an option and not obligatory on the parents," Majzoub underscored, pointing out that said schools should be at an equal distance from private ones.

Finally, he noted that the Ministry of Education is following up the issue of displaced students with donor countries, which in turn are going through a financial crisis.
